About 12 Star Designs
12 Star Designs was created by Mary E. Krueger in the summer of 2009 by accident when she desired to create a special, handmade gift for her Aunt who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. After a brief introduction to crimping at a local bead store and some internet research, Mary created a heartfelt bracelet for her beloved Aunt.
Mary found beading a very rewarding experience and proceeded to repair a few of her rosaries and those of a friend. On a whim, she created a rosary of her own and she knew she had found a new calling - designing and creating prayer beads.
Mary converted to Catholicism in 2000 at the age of 21 and currently resides in St. Charles, Missouri.
