Little Crown of the Virgin Mary

For a long while, I have been considering consecrating myself to Jesus through Mary. I chose the name of the company before looking at the consecration info, and when I looked again, I came across this devotion. I couldn't believe it. I chose a company name about the 12 stars in Mary's crown with very little knowledge about it, and then I trip over a chaplet devoted to the stars in Mary's crown. It's my new favorite devotion, and I hope it becomes a favorite of yours, too.

Center: Silver metal Mary with child and star crown (front) and Sacred Heart of Jesus (back).

Crucifix (medal): Large vintage elongated Miraculous Medal.

Ave beads: Glass cobalt blue stars.

Pater beads: Round, faceted clear crystal beads.

Spacer beads: Glass cobalt blue beads, faceted clear crystal beads with silver foil, and round silver metal spacer beads.

Green Clover

A more traditional style rosary with a classic twist. The "Green Clover" rosary has vintage center and crucifix that make this a one-of-a-kind treasure for years to come.

Center: Vintage metal gold-tone heart-shaped center with Marian markings.

Crucifix: Vintage metal gold-tone crucifix.

Ave beads: Emerald glass bicone shaped beads.

Pater beads: Round, faceted clear crystal beads.

Spacer beads: All glass gold and very light yellow spacer beads.

Welcome!

Welcome to 12 Star Designs! Thank you for stopping by and taking a look at what is happening. I'm still in the process of registering all my business forms, so you can't purchase anything just yet. However, I wanted to share with you all the wonderful things I have been creating this past month.

First, I must say that I never thought I would be a person who made handmade rosaries. I just fell into this, and I love it! In fact, I feel compelled to create these prayer beads. I have always felt a sadness seeing old rosaries and chaplets at flea markets and antique malls...with their missing beads or worn, rusted chain. Who would pray them?

So I made the decision to save these broken, well loved and prayed blessed items by using pieces of them that were still viable in newly created rosaries and prayer beads.

Take a look, and let me know what you think!
